What is in it
- Quote worksheet. Hourly rate, contingency, revision allowance, direct costs, markup, discount and margin, with a fictional worked example and the formula written beside each result.
- Launch QA checklist. Thirty-five checks for websites and creative files with Pass, Fail and N/A dropdowns and a result line.
- Printable PDF. The same checklist for paper, plus a table explaining the quote formulas.
What it does not include
The inquiry form, project brief, scope-change log, revision tracker, assets checklist, status tracker and handoff checklist, the message scripts, the brief template, the quick-start guide and the Notion files are in the paid kit. The comparison table shows the split.
Using it
- Open the .xlsx in Excel, LibreOffice or Google Sheets.
- On the Quote worksheet, clear the cream cells (Input) and type your own numbers. Do not overwrite grey cells (Calculated).
- Hours are decimal hours. Percentages are entered as percentages. There is no currency symbol: use your own.
The workbook was calculated in LibreOffice and not opened in Excel or Google Sheets by the maker. If a dropdown or date looks wrong after upload to Google Sheets, tell me.
Licence and follow-up
For your own use under the same personal licence as the paid kit. Please do not redistribute it. There is no mailing list, so nothing will follow you after you download. If a mailing list is added later, joining will be a separate, optional choice.
